Project Outline The objective of the Project is to reduce landslide risks in northern and central Vietnam by implementing a three-step disaster prevention approach. This includes landslide diagnosis using analysis results of satellite data and drone-based surveys, an early warning system for evacuation, and emergency countermeasures such as simple drainage systems to control landslide progress. By providing these cost-effective and efficient disaster mitigation measures, the project aims to minimize loss of life and economic damage, while also fostering collaboration between government bodies and local communities for better disaster resilience and promoting public-private partnerships in the disaster prevention business.
