Chief Representative of JICA Iran Office Lecture on Major Characteristics of Japan's International Cooperation in a Symposium on held by University of Tehran

On the 90th anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Faculty of World Studies of Tehran University held a symposium on "Development of Commercial Relation between Iran & Japan" on 16th and 17th December 2019.

In the opening ceremony of this symposium, Dr. Araghchi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Ex-Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Iran in Tokyo, Mr. Mitsugu Saito, the Ambassador of Japan in Iran, as well as Dr. Seyed SaeidReza Ameli, Head of Faculty of World Studies of Tehran University delivered speech.

After the opening ceremony, a discussion panel was held by the presence of Dr. Nahid PoorRostami, Deputy of Research and Education of Faculty of World Studies of Tehran University, Mr. Yukiharu Kobayashi, Chief Representative of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Iran Office as well as Mr. Katsumi Sudo, Head of Yaban Commercial Company.

Mr. Kobayashi lectured on the philosophy of ODA (Official Development Assistance) and JICA, and milestones of Cooperation between Iran and Japan, and on the clarification of the Major Characteristics of Japan's International Cooperation in more details with some examples of JICA's activities in Iran.
