Engagement inside the organization
In parallel with cooperation and co-creation with outside partners, it is also important to promote engagement within the organization, through which everyone at JICA works for sustainability management. We are working to strengthen interactive communications so that everyone understands JICA’s direction and purpose, maintain an awareness of autonomously contributing to achieving those goals, and act accordingly. In FY2023, the Office for Sustainability Management, together with related departments, conducted a total of 31 events within the organization, including seminars and training, with more than 1,800 persons in attendance overall.
