Transition Plan for Achieving the Goals of the Paris Agreement

JICA formulated the transition plan as a compass to accelerate JICA's broad-based efforts, both organizationally and operationally, towards achieving the goals of the Paris Agreement in March 2026.

Under its Global Agenda on Climate Change, and guided by its Transition Plan for Achieving the Goals of the Paris Agreement, JICA advances cooperation on both mitigation and adaptation, contributing to the transition toward a decarbonized and climate-resilient society.

JICA is pursuing harmony between the natural environment in terrestrial and coastal areas and human activities. Additionally, we strive to mainstream biodiversity into various fields, including urban planning and agricultural development.
