The Project for the Road Improvement of the Northern Part of the North-South Corridor will improve transportation and logistics as well as traffic safety in the northern mountainous part of the North-South Corridor, which connects Zambia and South Africa, by constructing climbing lanes and rehabilitating sharp curves. It is expected that this project will reduce the number of traffic accidents by nearly 80% and promote logistics and economic growth in the regions surrounding the North-South Corridor.
