This report presents the activities of the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers program (JOCV) in Cameroon during the FY 2018.
JOCV started its activities in Cameroon in October 2006. Between 2006 and 2018, 154 volunteers were assigned to 5 of the 10 regions of the country. At the end of FY 2018, 23 volunteers were stationed in Cameroon. These volunteers, assigned to the decentralized brunches of the Cameroonian administration, work together with the local people in the fields of education, community development and health. The volunteers also carry out activities in partnership with local and international organizations involving in volunteerism.
