The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) is an Incorporated Administrative Agency of Japan which implements Japan's Official Development Assistance (ODA) to developing countries. JICA has been cooperating with Ghana for more than 50 years. Our current focus is in health, education, agriculture, infrastructure and governance sectors in Ghana.

JICA Ghana Office is now seeking qualified and experienced staff as follows:

[Position]

Program Officer in the Infrastructure Section, One (1) person

[Job Description] (Please see a detail of Job Description at ATTACHMENT 1)

• To assist the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of JICA's projects of Ghana's Infrastructure and related sector in collaboration with JICA staff, experts, and stakeholders.
• To collect and analyze information and policies of the Infrastructure and its related sectors.
• To assist activities of the Infrastructure Team of the office and mission teams through various arrangements and other logistical works.
• To assist the activities related to the public relations.

[Employment Period]

• One (1) year (A probationary period lasting six months from the day of recruitment)
• Renewable when performed well

[Required Qualifications & Experiences]

• Bachelor’s degree or more in Infrastructure or its related sectors
• Adequate business manner and discipline
• At least 5 (five) year working experience in Infrastructure Sector
• Working experience(s) at international organization and/or development partners and/or public sector in Ghana
• Excellent PC skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel

[Desirable Qualifications and Experiences]

• Master's degree in the Infrastructure or its related sectors
