Technical trainees learn Japanese cultures and lifestyle during their pre-departure briefing session at JICA Rwanda Office
JICA has been providing technical training opportunities to countries that require capacity development of their national human resources.
Since 1954, in collaboration with leading organizations in each specialized field, JICA has provided training to more than 250,000 people from developing countries through the Technical Training Program. Under the training program, participants learn skills and knowledge in Japan through Japan’s experience, and return to their countries of origin to utilize their newly gained experience in promoting sustainable socioeconomic development.
More than 200 professionals in Rwanda have benefited from the Program since 1978. Through the main three training courses under the Technical Training Program – Group/Issue Focus Training Course, Counterparts Training Course and Youth Training Course, JICA Rwanda Office will continue providing training opportunities to Rwandese professionals in the field of Human Resources Development, Rural Development, and Economic Infrastructure and Industrial Development.
