JICA Zimbabwe staff welcoming new Resident Representative, Mr. HOMMA Minoru (Pictured far right)

August 2019 was a time of change at the JICA Zimbabwe Office, as we bid farewell to our former Resident Representative, Mr. YOSHIARA Shumon, and welcomed Mr.HOMMA Minorua. Mr. Homma was appointed the new office head effective August 2019.

On assuming the office, Mr. Homma said, "It is my pleasure to be appointed as Resident Representative of JICA Zimbabwe Office. I promise that during my tenure, JICA Zimbabwe shall pursue development assistance that resonates well with the Country's aspirations of Vision 2030".

JICA's cooperation shall continue to contribute to the initiatives that address issues and challenges of economic and social development that the country is facing, based on the Country Assistance Policy for Zimbabwe. JICA will also make maximum effort to strengthen the ties of friendship among the people Zimbabwe and Japan.
