It's our pleasure to extend a cheerful welcome to six new volunteers to Zimbabwe. Their presence shall bring new skills and knowledge that will contribute towards attainment of Zimbabwe's Vision 2030. The volunteers shall be dispatched to various institutions that include education and sport as follows : Mr. Kinoshita , PC Instructor, Mr. Aoki, Baseball Coach, Mr. Ogura, Physical Education Teacher, Ms. Akasaka, Design Instructor, Mr. Sasaki, Computer Technician and Mr. Yamane, Football Coach.

2019 marks the 30th Anniversary since JICA started sending volunteers to Zimbabwe in 1989. Over 5 00 volunteers have been dispatched in the field of education and sport throughout the country. JOCV activities have made a big difference in Zimbabwe ‘s perception into practical subjects and sports such as Physical Education and Baseball respectively, as they can bring people together regardless of religious affiliation and language differences. This interaction has elucidated that these subjects can be seen as a source of livelihood.
