ブータン人が国際活断層シンポジウムで発表

2020年1月13日から17日、経済省地質鉱山局（Department of Geology and Mines：DGM）のDowchu博士が、淡路市で開催された北淡国際活断層シンポジウムでポスター発表をしました。本シンポジウムは、25年前の阪神淡路大震災が地表に残した活断層の一部を保存する野島活断層保存館で開催されました。海外から多くの研究者が集まり、活断層研究の新たな展開を話し合いました。ブータンから唯一参加したDowchu博士は、ブータン南西部の活断層について最新調査状況を発表しました。

新規の共著論文を発表

2020年1月14日、本プロジェクトの共同研究チームがまとめた論文が国際誌にオンライン掲載されました。論文は、版築造民家の耐震化技術を開発するための実験結果などについてまとめています。
