国際協力機構（JICA）マレーシア事務所は、2026年10月7日（水）から9日（金）までクアラルンプール・コンベンションセンター（KLCC）で開催されるInternational Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition and Conference Malaysia（IGEM）2026に共催という形で参画します。

　具体的には日本環境省、マレーシア天然資源・環境サステナビリティ省（NRES）及びJICAの共催によるハイレベルセッションと、関係機関と連携したセミナー（Pocket Talk）を開催します。また、日本の対マレーシア政府開発援助（ODA）協力70周年／JICA海外協力隊のマレーシア派遣60周年の節目を迎えており、これを踏まえたJICAブース（Booth No. 1005）展示を行い、これまでの協力の歩みと、気候変動対策・生物多様性保全等に向けた現在の取組を紹介します。

概要：気候変動対策と生物多様性保全を、資金と技術によって具体的な取組へとつなげる2つのPocket Talkセッションを開催します。第1セッションでは、マレーシアの自然系カーボンクレジット制度（FCO）と、自然・森林保全への資金拠出を促す非市場型の制度（FCC）を紹介するとともに、日本の自然保全に関する経験や、カーボン市場の透明性とNDCとの整合性を確保する取組を共有します。市場・非市場の双方から、気候変動対策と生物多様性保全に向けた資金動員と日・マレーシア間の協力の可能性と事例を紹介致します。第2セッションでは、MFFによる森林保全の資金メカニズムに加え、日本の民間セクターによる湿地を活用したNature-based Solutionsや、生物多様性に関する情報・技術の活用など、具体的な取組を紹介します。両国の官民の知見を結集し、資金とイノベーションを通じた生物多様性保全と持続可能な社会の実現に向け、新たな連携の可能性についてお話します。
