JICAは、技術協力プロジェクト「民間セクター参画促進プロジェクト」の一環で、ウクライナの中小企業振興及び輸出促進に係る政策・体制構築、またウクライナの中小企業に対する日本を含むアジア諸国への進出に係る技術面での直接支援を実施しています。
同支援の枠組みでは、広くウクライナの中小企業に対し日本市場・ASEAN市場参入や生産性向上などに関するウェビナーを実施するほか、ウクライナ経済・環境・農業省との協議の下、①加工果物・野菜、②菓子、③家具の3分野を日本・アジア市場向け輸出促進の重点分野と定め、ウクライナ起業・輸出促進局（EEPO）を通じて応募・選考された企業10社（下記）に対しては、企業診断や輸出計画の策定支援、最終的には日本企業とのマッチングまでの支援を含む伴走支援を実施しています。
