クラリネット等の楽器に使われているアフリカン・ブラックウッドは伐採・利用が進み、希少な木材となっています。

本イベントでは、アフリカン・ブラックウッドを中心としたアフリカの森林の現状やヤマハ株式会社のサスティナブルな森づくりの事例をご紹介したのち、クラリネットを中心とした70名を超える音楽隊が、アフリカと日本にまつわる曲を演奏します！

African Blackwood which is a material of musical instruments such as clarinets have become scarce due to the logging and utilization. At this event, we will share the current situation of African forests, focusing on African Blackwood, and examples of sustainable forest management conducted by Yamaha Corporation. After that, a big musical band that is composed of clarinet players will perform music related to Africa and Japan.
The event will be held mainly in Japanese but everyone can enjoy the music part. We hope that this event will help more people know about African forests and music. Let's change the world from forest and music!
