〈報告〉JICA東京センターにて納涼会を実施しました（9月2日）

JICA東京センターでは、9月2日（金）に研修員の福利厚生プログラムの一環として納涼会を実施しました。
12名の研修員に参加していただきました。インターンシップ・プログラムに参加中の5名の日本人大学生の皆さんには、五感を使った日本の夏を快適に過ごす工夫として、扇子やかき氷、ハッカの紹介や、日本の夏の習慣である花火や風鈴、またその歴史的背景について、それぞれ紹介していただきました。
どのプレゼンテーションも大変素晴らしく、研修員たちもとても興味深く熱心に耳を傾けていました。

その後、日本の夏の風物詩である風鈴への絵付け体験の後、庭にでて皆で手持ち花火を楽しみ、盛況のうちに終了いたしました。
この日は夕方まで雨が降っていたので、花火の実施が危ぶまれましたが、無事予定通り、開催することができました。
ご協力いただきました皆様、本当にありがとうございました。

JICA Tokyo Center held a Nouryo kai "Summer night party “as a part of participant’s welfare programs on Friday, September 2, 2022. Twelve JICA participants attended at the night. Five Japanese university students from JICA Tokyo Internship Program were asked to attend the night and to introduce Japanese summer customs such as fans, shaved ice, and Hakka “Japanese peppermint”, as well as fireworks and wind chimes and their historical backgrounds, as ways to spend summer in Japan comfortably using the five senses. All the presentations were excellent, and participants listened with great interest.

After that, the participants tried hand painting on wind chimes, and then moved to the garden to enjoy handheld fireworks and the event ended on a high note.

It was raining until late afternoon, so we were worried about whether we could have fireworks or not. but we were able to hold the event.
