来日研修再開

【Participants visited Japan! Completion of Program ” Core Staff Training for Key Operation and Maintenance Leaders of Mumbai - Ahmedabad High Speed Railway”】

Since March 2020, there have been no JICA participants for short-term training organized by JICA Tokyo who visited Japan due to travel restriction because of COVID- 19. However, while cross-border travel has been resumed and the number of people who cross borders has been increasing, 13 participants from India visited Japan and have completed the Knowledge Co-Creation Program (KCCP) as the first KCCP organized in JICA Tokyo after the COVID-19 successfully.　Experts from the railway related companies in Japan gave lectures to the participants and explained Japanese experiences. Participants traveled many places in East Japan and visited a lot of facilities related to Shinkansen, the High Speed Railway in Japan. Participants asked many questions and exchanged opinions. In the final presentation session, every member of attendance admitted that the schedule was very tight and participant had a fruitful experience.

　2020年3月以降、コロナによる渡航制限の影響により、東京センターが所管する短期（1年未満）研修について、参加者で来日された方はいらっしゃいませんでした。しかし、政府の水際措置も緩和され海外との人の行き来も増える中で、コロナ後の第一弾としてインドから13名の研修員が「インド高速鉄道コアスタッフ研修」に参加するために来日し、無事に終了しました。日本の鉄道関係会社の方々に講師としてプログラムにご参加いただき、日本の経験を参加者に伝えました。参加者は東日本の様々な場所を回り、多くの新幹線関係施設で視察・実習をしました。研修員は積極的に質問をして、活発な意見交換がなされました。最終報告会での振り返りでは、だれもが密なスケジュールだったと振り返り、充実した研修内容であったことが見て取れました。

In the background of this program, following the summit meeting between India and Japan, the joint statement released on December 2015, both sides had confirmed that Mumbai-Ahmedabad high speed rail corridor would be developed with the use of Japanese high speed rail technologies (i.e. the Shinkansen system) and experiences.　This KCCP was conducted as a part of the cooperation of it. Participants will carry out what they have learned in this program in the Project for the High-Speed Railway in India.

　このプログラムの背景には、2015年12月の日印首脳間の共同声明に従い、ムンバイ－アーメダバード間の高速鉄道計画に日本の新幹線システムを適用することについて、基本合意がなされていることがあります。このプログラムはその協力の一環として行われました。参加者は本研修で学んだことをインドの高速鉄道プロジェクトで実践していきます。
