東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団の公演にJICA研修員をご招待いただきました！

目の前で繰り広げられる大迫力の生演奏に研修員たちからは、「本当に素晴らしかった！」の声続出！

東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団の11月定期演奏会は「シェイクスピアとチャイコフスキー」をテーマに『テンペスト』『ハムレット』『ロメオとジュリエット』の幻想曲、幻想序曲を一気に演奏するばかりか、チェロ独奏が活躍する「ロココの主題による変奏曲」では協奏曲の醍醐味も。
ソロは2019年ARDミュンヘン国際音楽コンクールのチェロ部門で日本人初の優勝を遂げて以来、世界に活躍の場を広げる佐藤晴真さんが担う。シェイクスピアにはマエストロ・チョンの『オテロ』（オペラ演奏会形式）、チャイコフスキーにはプレトニョフの『マンフレッド』という導火線もあり、シーズンの締めくくりにふさわしい演奏でした。
本公演にはJICA東京にて長期研修に参加中の研修員10名が参加しました。

今回招待された研修員は、日本の大学にて修士・博士課程に在籍し学位取得に向けて日々自国の開発課題の解決に資する研究を行っています。

公演中には、目の前で繰り広げられる演奏に終始釘付けに。演奏のリズムに合わせ、頭を揺らしている研修員も。
公演後は、「是非また行ってみたい」「他の研修員にも紹介したい」といった声が上がっており、公演を大満喫している様子が伝わってきました。

The November subscription concert of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra was themed "Shakespeare and Tchaikovsky," with performances of fantasies and fantasy overtures from "The Tempest," "Hamlet," and "Romeo and Juliet" all at once, as well as a concerto of "Variations on a Rococo Theme" featuring the cello soloist.

The soloist was Haruma Sato, who has been expanding his international career since becoming the first Japanese winner of the cello division of the 2019 ARD Munich International Music Competition. The performance was a fitting conclusion to the season, with Maestro Chung's "Otello" (opera concert format) for Shakespeare and Pletnyov's "Manfred" fuse for Tchaikovsky.
This performance was attended by 10 participants who are currently participating in a long-term training program at JICA Tokyo.

The invited participants are enrolled in master's and doctoral courses at Japanese universities and they are working toward their degrees, conducting research that will contribute to solving development issues in their home countries.

During the performance, the participants were glued to the stage from start to finish as the performance unfolded in front of them. Some participants were bobbing their heads to the rhythm of the performance!
After the performance, there were comments such as "I would definitely like to go again" , "I would like to introduce this to other participants," indicating that the participants enjoyed the performance very much.
